TDA is undoubtedly the leading Islamic architect in the Maldives. Our designs are modern interpretation of traditional Islamic buildings for religious purposes where the details of traditional elements are incorporated into the designs which employ a rich tapestry of Islamic architecture. While our designs are reminiscent of traditional mosques, the basic Islamic architectural elements are translated to reflect Maldives a progressive Muslim country. Many of the mosques designed by TDA have become famous landmarks throughout Male’ and in other parts of the country. It is TDA’s contribution to the spiritual and cultural development of the community.
